"Embarcadero" was inspired by a photo I took while walking along the waterfront in San Diego, where Navy ships and sailboats share the same stretch of harbor. This view of the boats sitting quietly, the long pier reaching out, and that soft light moving across the water stuck with me.
I focused a lot on the movement of the water and the light reflecting across it, those little details that make being by the ocean feel so calming.
